Student Housing Main Lounge / Higher Education / Kristin Hughes

The concept driving this design was the university's idea of transformative learning. The interiors provides a literal interpretation by allowing objects to interact in different environments throughout the building. The illusion of building elements continuing through walls or windows into separate spaces demonstrates this idea. This same concept on a more personal level is experienced by each individual as they pass through a space that feels foreign to its surroundings giving them a unique experience.
